What makes us different and what makes this class more interesting than other anatomy classes?
Well, we are two artists, Eddy Roos (sculptor) and Noella Roos (painter), who work our whole life with anatomy as artists, as opposed to medical professionals. We look at (correct) anatomy with the eyes of practicing artists. So, we know which muscles you see on the outside and, more importantly, where and how to display them.
Muscles are changing with every movement, so they look different when they are ‘at work’ or when they resting, and this needs to be shown. To show this change we will work with a dancer as a model: Willy Heramus (a dancer from Kalimantan, Indonesia). Willy and Noella already work a long time together on anatomy lessons, so both know how to show you the movement of muscles in real life. And Eddy Roos is a master in drawing movements, using this anatomy.
