We would like to inform you that CushCush Gallery will be having exhibition titled "DRAWING CHARCOAL". It is a charity group exhibition, celebrating the completion of their very first CHARCOAL FOR CHILDREN 2016/17 program. The exhibition will be running from 27th February - 13th May 2017.

We are honored to have the Australian Consul-General Bali representative to be our Guest-Of-Honor for the opening night, together with participating artists I Wayan Sujana 'Suklu, Reno Ganesha, Noella Roos, Nyoman Wijaya, Natisa Jones and Budi Agung Kuswara 'Kabul'.

CHARCOAL FOR CHILDREN 2016/17 theme is 'DRAWING FUTURE'. This time, the charcoal is used as a medium for drawing and painting. 6 invited artists, with the help of 30+ volunteers from creative communities, work together with 100+ children from different backgrounds to create collaborative artworks. This was done in 3 separate sessions.

CFC session 1 was conducted in 24 September 2016
CFC session 2 was conducted in 23 October 2016
CFC session 3 was conducted in 21 January 2017

The artists explored different ways to introduce and engage the children with Charcoal. In each of the session, children are introduced to charcoal and shown how they are made. Then children get to explore different techniques before they work together with the invited artists on a collaborative artwork.

Through CFC program, LagiLagi and CCG want to highlight the importance of nurturing and stimulating children's creativity and curiosity from young, by inspiring artists and creative community to come together, to interact with children through fun, creative activities.

The opening night will also feature a video mapping projection show by Wicitra Pradnyaratih 'Acyd'.
